Fine Arts

Enrichment Time

Arise Classical Academy is proud to provide a classical Christian arts curriculum. Our daily program schedule includes a portion of each day for enrichment. Enrichment time will develop a student’s character, creativity, and leadership skills.

We place great value on being a Christian academy with fine arts programs. Creative enrichment equips students for many areas of life by effectively nurturing creative thought, hard work and problem-solving. Studying a Christian education fine arts curriculum helps develop a strong sense of identity and confidence in each student’s ability to affect the world around them in meaningful ways.

School of Worship and Choir

The three-part harmony of truth, beauty, and goodness will resonate in our hallways. Our vision is a robust music program that displays God’s beauty and teaches how to communicate love and adoration for music. All students will sing in the choir and make a joyful noise unto the Lord. We aim to dive into music theory and singing the great hymns of the past. We will encourage appreciation for form, structure, and the mathematical objectivity of musical notes, harmonies, and symmetrical relations between sounds.

*Through our membership with ACCS, students will have the opportunity to participate in the National Honors Choir.

Music is an agreeable harmony for the honor of God and the permissible delights of the soul.” -Johann Sebastian Bach

Visual Arts

Our visual arts program will lead students to explore a variety of techniques and mediums, including drawing, painting, mixed medium, collage, sculpture and more. Students will also learn about different artists and styles of art. Through engaging with our classical Christian art curriculum, they will learn to appreciate their own creative capacities and grow in understanding of God as the Creator and master artist.

*Through our membership with ACCS, students are eligible to participate in the Blakely Fine Arts Competition.

Speech and Debate

Arise Classical Academy aims for all students to be clear, compelling, and persuasive communicators. Speaking and debate skills will be practiced and perfected through our speech and debate component. The skills developed in this enrichment unit will be fully exhibited when students present and defend their senior thesis.

*Through our membership with ACCS, students may participate in the Chrysostom Oratory Competition and the
Universal Latin Award.
