Our values

Our Christ-centered University-Model® allows students to learn the way God created them to learn, to surround themselves with students who are of similar values, and to become fully prepared not only to remain in the faith as they move to their next phase of life but to expand God’s kingdom on the Earth well beyond. At Arise Classical Academy, students will study a classical curriculum while becoming fully known, fully loved, and fully challenged

CHRIST AT THE CENTER > CHRIST AS A SUBJECT

Christ is the center of all subjects, and our teachers will intentionally point students to Christ in their classroom teaching. We don’t simply conduct a Bible study and continue on with our day. Instead, we think deeply about God’s Word throughout the day, building a Christian worldview in the process.

PORTRAIT OF A GRADUATE > PATH TO COLLEGE

We recognize that college is an excellent option for students but not the only option. We develop college-worthy students with a greater goal of graduating students who become persons with love for learning, wisdom, and virtue. Through our apprenticeship and mentorship program, we will explore different trades and career paths and encourage students to pursue a future aligned with their gifts and where God is calling them for the future.

CREATIVITY > CURRICULUM

Creative arts awaken students to the beauty around them, enhancing mood, cognitive ability, confidence, and ingenuity. Curriculum is important, but we aim to achieve more than just checking boxes and completing textbooks. We want to have rich conversations, develop creativity, and inspire students to be leaders.

HAVEN > HUSTLE

Our compact class schedule allows ample time for instruction but also gives students the freedom to have time to pursue other passions. Spend less time rushing out the door to activities and more time with family. We partner with parents to deliver a quality education that gives them more time with their children, providing parents the space to impart their faith and values.

LOVING TO LEARN > LOVING TO EARN

We choose virtue over vocation. We instill a lifelong love of learning in our students and measure success not merely by test scores but by character development and spiritual growth. “Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” a William Butler Yeats

ACADEMIC SUPPORT > ACADEMIC SOLITUDE

The task of homeschooling a high school student can seem daunting. We come alongside parents to assist with instruction time, curriculum, transcripts, and community. As students grow in independence, parental assistance at home will slowly wane. However, having multiple instruction days a week will give a student support throughout the entire high school experience.

CLASSICAL VIRTUES > MODERN VALUES

Students are bombarded with media and looking to “influencers” for wisdom. We seek to reclaim the narrative on the good, true, and beautiful by instilling classical virtues in our students and using logic and reasoning to weed out the false messages they encounter daily.

Mission and Vision

We inspire high school students to arise and become all God has called them to be. Using a rigorous classical curriculum, we instill a Christian worldview while training ethical servant-leaders to be wise thinkers and clear communicators to shape culture for the glory of God. We aspire for students to have a love of truth, beauty, and goodness.
